Warm Wishes for a Safe Holiday Season
Dear Students,
As we wrap up the fall quarter, Uzma and I want to send you our warmest wishes for a peaceful and restorative holiday season. We hope you find time to rest, reconnect with the people who matter to you, and take care of yourselves after a busy term.
We are continually inspired by your hard work, curiosity, and resilience. We know this year has asked a lot of you—in your classes, in your commitments outside the classroom, and in navigating a world that can feel uncertain at times. Thank you for bringing your energy, your questions, and your perspectives to Western. You make this community what it is.
We also recognize that the recent heavy rains and flooding in the region are affecting many of you and your families. We hope you and your loved ones remain safe and are able to navigate these challenges in the weeks ahead.
We are proud that you have given your best this quarter and grateful that you have chosen Western as the place to pursue your goals. We look forward to having you back in the new year and supporting you in everything ahead.
Wishing you a safe holiday break,
Sabah
